Leilo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Leilo Inc. (“Leilo,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit leilo.com (the “Site”), make a purchase, subscribe to our emails or text messages, or otherwise interact with us.

Personal information we collect

Device Information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. Order Information. When you make or attempt a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment information (processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers), email address, and phone number.

Marketing Information. When you sign up for emails or text messages, we collect your email address and/or mobile number, the date, time, and source of your consent, and your engagement with our messages (opens, clicks, replies).

Account and Subscription Information. If you create an account or a subscription, we collect the details needed to manage it, including your preferences and order history.

Support Information. When you contact us by email, text, or our help form, we collect the contents of your message and any information you choose to provide.

How we use your personal information

We use Order Information to fulfill orders (processing payment, arranging shipping, sending confirmations), to communicate with you about your order, to screen for fraud, and, in line with the preferences you have shared with us, to send you information or advertising about our products. We use Device Information to help screen for fraud, to improve and optimize the Site, and to measure the performance of our marketing. We use Marketing Information to send the messages you signed up for and to honor your opt-out choices. We use Support Information to respond to you.

Text messaging

If you enroll in Leilo Texts, we collect your mobile number, the date, time, and source of your consent, and your message history with us. We use this information to send the messages you signed up for, to honor opt-out requests, and to keep records of consent as required by law. Text messaging is governed by our SMS Terms. We do not sell mobile numbers and do not share them with third parties for their own marketing. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.

Sharing your personal information

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions. Each provider’s own privacy policy governs its handling of your information. 

We may also share personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Advertising

We use your personal information to show you targeted advertising and marketing communications we believe may interest you. Your choices

Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Text messages: reply STOP to any message. Cookies and targeted advertising: use the browser and industry opt-outs above. Access, correction, or deletion: email help@leilo.com from the address on your account and we will respond as required by law. Do Not Track: we do not currently change our data practices in response to Do Not Track browser signals.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (which, under California law, can include the use of advertising cookies); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To opt out of sale or sharing, visit leilo.com/pages/ccpa-opt-out. To make any other request, email help@leilo.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Other U.S. state residents and international visitors

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and opt-out; contact us at help@leilo.com to exercise them. If you are located outside the United States, note that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you; contact us to exercise these rights.

Data retention

We keep Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it. We keep records of marketing consent and opt-outs for as long as needed to honor your choices and to demonstrate compliance, generally at least five years after your last message.

Minors

The Site and our products are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
